First, look at the book as a book
During writing, chapters are working units. Before export, the important question changes: what does the complete book look like when current versions, cover, illustrations, hidden headings and page breaks come together?
The full PDF preview creates that moment before the final export. Working sections can remain inside the project while excluded material stays out of the book. You can inspect the result without dismantling the workspace that produced it.
A publisher or platform needs more than chapters
The manuscript itself does not contain every piece of information needed to present it. You may need positioning, a blurb, a synopsis or proposal, author information, rights information, and an AI-use declaration.
These materials are part of the same publishing process but are not chapters of the book. B-Maker gives them a dedicated publishing workspace so they do not have to become random documents named synopsis-final.docx, blurb-new.txt, and author-bio-last.docx.
A readiness checklist turns memory into a process
Submission preparation contains many small requirements. Required fields, typical limits and explanations make those requirements visible, while a live readiness checklist shows what is still missing.
The checklist does not claim that a completed form guarantees publication. It solves the more mechanical problem: avoiding an incomplete package because one required element was forgotten.
Export the thing you actually need
B-Maker can export the whole project or a selected section with its subsections. That matters when one project contains more than one deliverable: a complete book, a part, or even a single article kept inside an archive folder.
Available export formats include DOCX, EPUB, PDF, TXT and Markdown. The point is not to force one “correct” final format, but to let the same source project produce different outputs for different destinations.
Publishing should not require abandoning the writing project
A common workflow ends with the text scattered again: manuscript in one place, synopsis in another, cover assets somewhere else, export files in a fourth folder. B-Maker tries to keep the preparation context attached to the project that created it.
