In our country, Schrödinger’s non-working week is coming, which can be called so based on the famous “Schrodinger’s Cat” experiment.
Its essence is that there is a box, inside of which there is a Cat inside along with a toxic substance. The probability that the toxic substance will affect the cat is 50%. It turns out that the Cat is both alive and dead at the same time. But we can only find out the state of the Cat by opening the box, but the whole question is how long? (details of the experiment here). It turns out that the Cat is in two states at the same time: alive or dead.
So visiting the stores this weekend reminded me of this experiment.
- Simultaneously: shops are working and not working. I understand why grocery stores work, but why do tobacco shops work? And at the same time, hardware stores where you can buy disinfectants and cleaning products are closed.
- Communication shops are open, but hardware stores are not open.
- Public transport operates on weekends, but parking is open on weekdays. I wonder what's with the dedicated bands...
- Well, the most interesting thing: some people still work, but some don’t.
It turns out that the week seems to be a day off, but also like a working week, it seems like a day off, but is paid as a weekday - a clear demonstration of Schrödinger’s experiment.
For those who did not understand the essence of this experiment, a unique opportunity presented itself to test it on yourself: you are working and not working at the same time.
Overall: #StillWorking
Will you be working this non-working week?
