Local-first product design
B-Maker is designed as a local-first writing workspace. Desktop projects are stored in portable .bmaker files controlled by the user. B-Maker does not require a proprietary B-Maker cloud account for a project to exist.
Information B-Maker may process
When you use the B-Maker website, standard web infrastructure may process technical information such as browser type, approximate network information, page requests, and diagnostic data. The public website may use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic and product usage.
When you use a B-Maker integration in ChatGPT, the integration may receive only the information needed to perform the action you requested, such as a writing instruction, project metadata, section title, or text you explicitly ask the integration to process. B-Maker does not sell personal information or manuscript content.
Manuscript and project content
B-Maker does not intentionally retain manuscript content submitted through a ChatGPT integration beyond the transient processing needed to complete the requested operation, unless a future feature clearly tells you otherwise and requires your action. Operational logs may retain limited technical metadata and error information for reliability and abuse prevention; they are not intended to contain full manuscript content.
Content stored locally in a B-Maker project remains in the user's project storage unless the user explicitly chooses an operation that sends selected content to an external service.
Third-party services
ChatGPT and OpenAI services are operated by OpenAI and are governed by OpenAI's own terms and privacy policies. Links from B-Maker may open third-party services such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Telegram, or download infrastructure, which have their own privacy practices.
Cookies and analytics
The B-Maker marketing pages on kurakin.pro may use analytics and related browser technologies to measure visits and interactions. These analytics are separate from the local contents of a .bmaker project.
Data retention
Local B-Maker project data remains under the user's control. Technical server or analytics logs may be retained for a limited period as needed for security, diagnostics, and service operation. B-Maker does not use manuscript content to build advertising profiles.
Your choices
You can stop using a B-Maker integration at any time, disconnect or uninstall it through ChatGPT where supported, and delete local B-Maker project files from your own storage. You can also avoid sending manuscript content to external services by using B-Maker's local features only.
Children
B-Maker is a general-purpose writing tool and is not designed to collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as B-Maker and its integrations evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
